Underwriting Account Representative - Financial Lines
The Underwriting Account Representative is responsible for supporting the underwriting process for multiple lines of insurance coverage which include Excess, D&O, EPL, Crime, Fiduciary and Fidelity.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties may include are not limited to:
- Ability to establish priorities and to plan, coordinate and monitor personal work plan maintaining status and oversight of multiple submissions
- Maintain service standards by timely response to broker requests and timely receipt of underwriting information
- Communicate with agents and brokers to confirm or obtain data needed for policy issuance and servicing
- Complete renewal prep activities
- Prepare at the direction of the Underwriter quotations, binders and policies
- Identify forms and endorsements used in policy construction
- Conduct account inquiries in various management systems
- Understanding and experience with administrative and clerical procedures including managing electronic files, data, and records
- Capability to work independently and within a team/group environment
- Identify and report problems or errors while working with significant amounts of detailed information
- 1-2 years of prior commercial insurance underwriting support experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of insurance terminology.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Microsoft Office Suite - Proficient in Excel
The pay range for the role is $43,700 to $74,200. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
