Responsibilities Work primarily in the radiology department with regular floating between departments, units, and facilities as needed Night shift schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a block schedule Patient ratios are 1:3 on days and 1:2 on nights and weekends Expect coverage for at least 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle Procedures include bedside/portable X-rays, emergency department, ICU, trauma, extremity, and abdominal imaging Use of PACS and Samsung imaging equipment On-call is required as per facility needs Must provide two recent professional references, one from a supervisor and another may be from a charge RN No more than 7 days of requested time off will be considered during the contract Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Annual flu and COVID vaccinations may be required as per facility policy Drug screening is required; candidates with unresolvable positive/diluted results must wait 6 months to reapply Completion of pre-start modules is required First-time travelers are welcome to apply No travel partners are accepted for this position License required if applicable Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience with at least 1 year in specialty within the last 12 months and no employment gaps greater than 90 days Active BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required Current Kansas and Missouri state licenses, or compact license, required prior to consideration Proficiency in trauma, portable, and emergency department X-ray procedures, including infection prevention and radiation safety Ability to float as needed across departments and facilities is required Knowledge of CT imaging is a plus, but not required Experience with PACS and Samsung equipment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-642950.
