WCS is seeking a Registered Nurse (Clinic/Ambulatory) for a local contract at a hospital in New York.

     

Job Function:

  • Day Shift.
  • 5x8.

  • Perform pre-operative assessments, review medical histories, and ensure patients are optimized for surgery.

  • Administer medications, start IVs, and prepare patients for procedures in coordination with the surgical team.

  • Monitor patients intraoperatively as needed and support workflow between OR, PACU, and procedural areas.

  • Provide post-operative care, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and delivering patient education and discharge instructions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection-control protocols, and ensure compliance with all clinical and safety standards.


Job Requirements:

  • Completion of state-approved RN program.  
  • Current RN license for the state of New York.
  • 2 years of RN experience is required.  
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
