Job Purpose
The Coffee Shop Attendant provides friendly and efficient service to all guests. This role prepares beverages, handles food items, and supports daily operations to ensure a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and take orders with a positive and helpful attitude
  • Prepare and serve beverages and light food items according to recipes and standards
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments and handle cash responsibly
  • Keep the coffee shop clean, stocked, and organized, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
  • Maintain product quality and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift
  • Assist with opening and closing tasks
  • Provide prompt solutions to guest questions or concerns
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service flow
  • Other duties may be assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience preferred, ideally in food, beverage, or hospitality
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Basic math skills and comfort with payment transactions
  • Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures
Working Conditions
  • Schedules vary based on business needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This job requires standing for long periods, frequent bending and reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
