Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to join their team. Join our team in Topeka, KS as a Senior Process Engineer and play a key role in driving safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Continuously improve safety, reduce defects, and build a zero-loss culture.
  • Lead the Commissioning, Qualification & Verification process for new projects, ensuring a smooth transition to operations.
  • Empower your team by fostering problem-solving skills and creating a high-performance work environment.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of your designated line/area and provide technical expertise to your team.
  • Lead the implementation of our CI methodologies and coach your team to root cause analysis and loss elimination.
  • Ensure accurate data collection in our Proficy software to drive informed decision-making.
  • Align your initiatives with the department master plan and the plant's long-term vision.
  • Help us stay ahead of the curve by identifying and implementing new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
  • Proven ability to learn technical processes and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience using formal methodologies.
  • Food manufacturing experience (a plus).
  • Project management skills (a plus).
