Birdie Books, a thriving independent bookstore and (future) café in Westerville, Ohio, is looking for a dynamic Event + Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As a cornerstone of the community, we take pride in offering a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels at home. We're seeking a thoughtful leader with proven experience in event and outreach operations to help guide our continued growth and impact in the community we serve.

The Event and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, initiating and executing events, while also developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage with the community and build relationships. They oversee all event tasks, manage event staff, and ensure smooth operations on event day. Budgeting is a core part of the event and outreach coordinator's role, ensuring that events are financially viable and that resources are used effectively. They also oversee the implementation of outreach initiatives and programs while establishing and maintaining viable relationships with community partners, and volunteers.
