Financial Operations Analyst– Entry Level

SLC, UT (In-Office) – Relocation required without relocation assistance

$47-56K/year

A prestigious firm based in Salt Lake City is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join their team supporting U.S. stock loan trading You’ll partner with traders, brokers, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth trade lifecycles while mitigating risk and driving operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Business, Engineering, Operations, and Credit teams.

  • Deliver transactions accurately and on time, driving a zero-error culture.

  • Proactively manage operational risk and resolve discrepancies in positions and trades.

  • Monitor, book, and manage recalls and returns on stock borrows and loans.

  • Communicate effectively with trading desks and counterparties to resolve issues.

  • Ensure all operational controls and processes are followed daily.

  • Lead process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance workflows.

What You Bring To The Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Self-driven, proactive, and flexible team player.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand technical workflows.

  • Experience with project management or process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
