Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicles.
  • Enhance your skills as an automotive mechanic with both domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to address guest concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Effectively communicate with the service department on issues and solutions.
  • Work with fellow technicians to tackle challenges and achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a positive attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to obtain them.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Aim to meet or exceed hourly performance goals.
  • Desire to learn and grow in your technical skills and processes.
  • Professional appearance and effective communication skills.
  • A commitment to long-term career development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting/moving of over 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles raised above head height.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
  • Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
  • Capability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Proficient in navigating a computer system.
