Interventional Radiology Technologist – Cardiac Interventional Radiology

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit. This role offers a 13-week assignment with opportunities to work in a teaching hospital environment, supporting advanced procedures in a Trauma Level I or II setting.

Key Details
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 – 18:30)
  • Cases per Day: 5–10
  • Start Date: January 12, 2026
  • Scrubs: Hospital provided
  • Charting System: EPIC Radiant, Q-site
Responsibilities
  • Scrub and circulate for interventional body and neuro procedures.
  • Perform endovascular interventions, abdominal and pelvic interventions, and genitourinary interventions.
  • Ensure sterile procedure and equipment setup.
  • Operate closure devices and EKOS systems.
  • Work with GE and Phillips Angio Suites.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC Radiant and Q-site systems.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years; 3 years preferred in Interventional Radiology.
  • Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (required).
  • Licensure: Active NJ license required.
  • Hospital Experience: Teaching hospital experience required; Trauma Level I or II preferred.
  • On-Call: Maximum 3 nights per week (5:00 pm – 7:00 am).
  • Scheduling: No block scheduling; every other weekend and holiday as applicable.
  • Holiday Policy: Must work one of the two winter holidays.
  • Travelers: First-time travelers accepted; locals welcome.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong background in interventional radiology procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases per day with precision and efficiency.
  • Experience in trauma and high-acuity environments.
  • Familiarity with closure devices and advanced imaging equipment.
