We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Asset Management Technical Lead and/or Project Manager to lead the implementation of new Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) within our organization. This role requires deep expertise in the end-to-end onboarding of enterprise systems, including requirements gathering, system selection, configuration, data migration, stakeholder engagement, and post-implementation support.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in leading large-scale EAMS implementations in public sector or enterprise environments, with a focus on asset lifecycle management, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise asset management system onboarding projects, from requirements definition through design, configuration, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful system delivery.
- Collaborate with departments to assess current asset management processes, identify gaps, and define future-state workflows enabled by the new system.
- Drive the development and documentation of functional and technical requirements, integration needs, and business rules.
- Oversee data cleansing, validation, and migration activities from legacy systems into the new EAMS.
- Ensure system configuration aligns with agency policies, compliance requirements, and operational goals.
- Manage timelines, risks, budgets, and vendor performance to deliver the project on time and within scope.
- Develop user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, lead user training sessions, and oversee knowledge transfer to internal support teams.
- Provide change management leadership to ensure adoption and long-term sustainability of the new platform.
- Track and report on project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders through regular status updates and milestone reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading enterprise asset management system implementations.
- Proven expertise in full project lifecycle execution: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
- Experience with industry-standard EAMS platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, AssetWorks, SAP EAM, or similar).
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, maintenance operations, and inventory tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience working across business, operations, and technical teams in public or enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and enterprise data architecture principles.
