As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide compassionate care to patients in our Emergency Department. Your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) involves working under the guidance of Registered Nurses or Physicians to ensure patients receive high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care based on individualized care plans, addressing physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Monitor and document vital signs, lab values, and patient conditions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with Registered Nurses and Physicians regarding patient status and any changes observed.
- Maintain confidential medical records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Utilize specialized equipment for patient care, such as glucometers and pulse oximeters.
- Administer medications as per established policies and document all procedures appropriately.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and patients.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience: One year of experience as an LPN, or successful completion of a comparable residency program.
Certifications:
- Must hold a current LPN compact/multistate license recognized by NCSBN Compact State or be licensed in the state of practice.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 11a to 11p
Location: Greenville Memorial Medical Campus
Facility: Greenville Memorial Hospital
