Opening: Maintenance Mechanic (UNION ROLE)
City: Tacoma, WA

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You'll be responsible for keeping all production equipment and machinery in safe, working order. This includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and repairing or replacing parts on mixers, conveyors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment used in the manufacturing process. You'll also help with preventative maintenance schedules, ensure tools and systems are operating efficiently, and respond quickly to minimize downtime so production stays on track.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
  • Competitive Salary: $80,000-95,000 to start
  • Monday-Friday schedule; 6:00AM-2:30PM OR 7:00AM-3:30PM

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
  • Applicants should have hands-on experience repairing and maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment.
  • Background in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting is highly valuable, along with skills in welding and fabrication.
  • The safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Experience working in an industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to safety
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure are also key for this role.
