Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Radiology Specialist to join our passionate team. In this role, you will primarily perform x-rays on patients while also assisting with triaging and other patient care services. You will be part of a supportive team that collaborates closely to provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate X-rays as directed by the Provider, adhering to radiation safety precautions including ALARA principles.
• Prepare and send images to the Radiologist for review.
• Room patients, including recording vital signs and patient history.
• Assist patients and providers with mobility, transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of examination rooms and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
• Transport patients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hiring.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT accreditation required.
• State of Florida licensure is necessary.
• Two years clinical experience in a related field preferred.
