JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented RCM Specialist to support operational excellence across the revenue cycle. This role partners closely with business leaders to drive continuous improvement, enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, and support compliance through audits, data analysis, training assistance, and cross-functional collaboration. The RCM Specialist will also contribute to updating and maintaining client’s revenue cycle policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance metrics within the revenue cycle.
  • Conduct audits of revenue cycle processes, vendor outputs, patient accounts, and remittances to identify root causes of denials and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans based on audit findings.
  • Analyze data and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvements.
  • Participate in vendor meetings, team discussions, and department reviews as needed.
  • Support the creation and updates of policies, procedures, and technology-related documentation.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with internal departments, clinics, and external vendor partners.
  • Assist in revenue cycle training sessions when required.
  • Prioritize and manage workload with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • Perform additional revenue cycle projects and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare clinical or office setting.
  • 1+ year of revenue cycle experience.
  • Hands-on experience with claims, denials, and/or process auditing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail for reviewing patient account data.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience working with offshore revenue cycle vendors.
  • 2+ years of revenue cycle experience.
  • Prior involvement in denial reduction initiatives.
Experience Required
  • 3+ years in a healthcare clinical or office setting.
  • 1+ year in revenue cycle management.

Education Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred).
