MidState Medical Center has been a vital part of our community since 1998, recognized for our commitment to quality care and patient satisfaction. Our Emergency Department, renovated in 2010, features 56 private rooms, integrated laboratory and radiology services, and a dedicated Acute Behavioral Unit, all designed to enhance patient and family experiences. With cutting-edge technology and designation as a Primary Stroke Center, we ensure our patients receive the highest quality care.
As the Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department, you will oversee daily operations under the guidance of the Director. This leadership role grants you 24-hour responsibility for implementing the hospital's vision, policies, and procedures that prioritize patient care. You will have the authority to make crucial decisions related to patient care, human resources, and financial management in collaboration with the Director.
Qualifications:
- Current RN License in the State of Connecticut
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- Minimum five years of recent, progressive acute care nursing experience required; Emergency Department experience preferred
- Previous Nursing Leadership experience required
