Location: Santa Clara, CA (On-site)

We are looking for an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about optimizing development workflows using AI-powered tools, particularly GitHub Co-Pilot. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of semiconductor technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bring extensive experience in DevOps roles with a focus on supporting and enhancing AI-driven development tools, specifically GitHub Co-Pilot.
  2. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Unix systems.
  3. Utilize Co-Pilot to streamline code development workflows, enhance code quality, and boost developer productivity effectively.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to users of the Co-Pilot platform, troubleshooting issues, addressing user feedback, and advocating for enhancements.
  5. Integrate Co-Pilot into CI/CD pipelines to automate tasks, expedite code reviews, and ensure code consistency.
  6. Create and maintain best practices and guidelines for Co-Pilot, covering code styles, documentation, and security practices.
  7. Understand machine learning and NLP concepts, along with the workings and limitations of Co-Pilot’s AI model.
  8. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve Co-Pilot’s accuracy, relevance, and usability.
  9. Communicate Co-Pilot-related concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  10. Employ strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail to preemptively identify issues related to Co-Pilot.
  11. Exhibit leadership to promote Co-Pilot adoption and mentor team members on best practices.
  12. Stay updated on Co-Pilot enhancements and industry best practices to optimize its use.
  13. Possess strong proficiency in AWS, Jenkins, Unix, and Co-Pilot.
  14. Have hands-on experience migrating from SVN to Git.

Experience Requirements:

8-10 years of experience in DevOps, including hands-on experience in version control, CI/CD, containerization (Kubernetes), and code scanning.

Migration Responsibilities:

Initially, assist in migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. The candidate should possess Terraform skills and a solution architect-level understanding of AWS cloud.
