About The Position
We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a 96-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Missouri. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, and features a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8am to 5pm. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including initial evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for child and adolescent patients in a structured outpatient setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for child and adolescent patients
• Provide medication management, including initiation, titration, and tapering of psychotropic medications
• Deliver psychotherapy services as appropriate
• Complete hour-long initial evaluations and 20-30 minute follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient encounters
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals as needed

Additional Information

• Must hold a clean background and have experience with child and adolescent populations
• Active Missouri medical license required
