Your Role...

As a Tax Specialist at H&R Block, you will receive comprehensive support from an expert team dedicated to giving you the tax training needed for your success. Enjoy the freedom, flexibility, and potential for extra earnings to embrace your unique lifestyle.

• Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients both in-person and through virtual platforms like video, phone, chat, and email.

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with precision.

• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and provide additional products and services to our valued clients.

• Offer IRS support to clients, ensuring their needs are met.

• Collaborate with your team to support office priorities and deliver exceptional service.

• Continuously grow your tax expertise through ongoing training and experience.

It would be even better if you also had...

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment.

• Experience thriving in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

• The ability to work between 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with potential for up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

What you'll bring to the team...

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.

• Experience in a high-energy environment.

• Proficiency with virtual communication tools (video, phone, chat).

• Effective communication skills for engaging with clients in person, via phone, and in writing.

• Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.

• A high school diploma or higher.
