Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting in surgical procedures through effective preparation and organization of the operating room
  • Upholding sterile fields while strictly adhering to infection control regulations
  • Delivering instruments and essential items to surgeons and surgical assistants
  • Managing and preparing surgical equipment before, during, and after each operation
  • Monitoring inventory to ensure readiness for every procedure
  • Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure outstanding care
  • Maintaining precise surgical counts and thorough documentation
Education Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
Certifications Needed:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
  • BLS certification (or the ability to acquire it within 90 days following hire)
