Job Description

Senior Accounting Analyst
Minimum 3+ Years Experience in Corporate Accounting

Venteon is currently seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to fill an opening with an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice with headquarters in the Metro Detroit area. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support key accounting operations for the organization s headquarters while gaining exposure to global financial reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance.
3 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or HQ environment.
CPA preferred.
Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
SAP and HFM experience a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations for HQ accounting activity.
Assist in the monthly and quarterly close processes.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Assist with SOX documentation, testing, and compliance.
Collaborate with HQ, regional, and outsourced accounting teams.
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
