As a valuable member of our service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service on Securitas Technology products at client sites. This role involves direct client interaction for all post-installation issues related to systems and equipment, as well as participation in special projects when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to trouble tickets, ensuring application uptime and system performance.
  • Collaborate with team members and work independently to diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
  • Implement routine configuration changes such as user permissions and application settings.
  • Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct pre-deployment testing for all upgrades and major modifications.
  • Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
  • Fire alarm experience: Bosch, Silent Knight preferred; Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens experience a plus; NICET certification or state fire license preferred.
  • ESA Certified Alarm Technician certification preferred.
  • NTS Certified Service Technician certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
