American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of neuro and IR experience, ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required.
Responsibilities- Position is in a teaching hospital in a Neuro Interventional Radiology unit
- Handles a daily caseload of 4-5 cases per technologist
- Works 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week, with a 30-minute response radius during on-call
- No floating required to other units or sister facilities
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Facility provides scrubs
- Position is at a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet, and teaching facility
- Applicants within 60 miles considered local and may be subject to local pay rates
- Candidates must submit all requested time off at the time of application; approval depends on unit needs
- Previous perm staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All personnel may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November
- Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Parking requires a one-time $20 payment for a pass
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and Neuro procedures
- Current ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on-call
- SSN and Driver’s License required for consideration
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered
- License required if applicable
