The Sales Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data to increase the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Sales teams. The Analyst will create both standardized and custom reports, produce insights that drive increased sales results, and provide overall support across the broader sales team. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who works well across a variety of teams and delivers high-quality data-driven results. A successful candidate will possess superior attention to detail, be driven to accomplish tasks timely, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Sales Analyst

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Maintain, create, & develop new or existing sales analysis reports which include but are not limited to:
  • Sales by customer/product/territory and so on
  • Sales margin and cost analysis
  • Short-term and long-term sales forecasting
  • Price development and sales price change effect
  • Exchange rate impact
  • General Ledger reconciliations
  • Assist in monthly close processes:
  • Sales turnover reconciliation
  • Orders shipped vs. expected
  • Assist in year-end closing process
  • Provide year-end audit support
  • Ad-Hoc support & deputy activities as needed
Job Requirements:
  • Moderate to high level skill in MS Excel
  • Detail oriented individual
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Intermediate Math skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to communicate across multiple levels and division of the organization
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 0-3 years of experience in related role
  • Understanding of business processes
  • Prior accounting or finance experience in the manufacturing sector strongly preferred
