We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman to join our team in the Oil & Energy sector. This critical role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our industrial equipment and machinery. Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems to identify underlying issues in machinery.
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacements to equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is accurate and up-to-date in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with operations and production staff to minimize downtime and improve processes.
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times during maintenance activities to promote a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new technologies.
Requirements
  • Valid Journeyman's certification in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within the oil and energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
