Job Description
Join our dynamic automation team as an experienced Site Reliability Developer focused on deploying and managing automation capabilities and platforms for Linux, Windows, and cloud native systems and services in federally regulated, secure environments
You will design, implement, and maintain scalable automation solutions, utilizing tools such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Golang to enhance reliability, security, and compliance. Automation platforms you will interact with include OLAM (Oracle's Ansible AWX) and Chef/ORC, tools like Shepherd/Terraform, Jenkins, and OCI DevOps services, and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and Docker. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with large-scale systems management, automation, configuration management, and a strong understanding of federal security requirements and best practices. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure robust operations and support the team's goal of delivering reliable, compliant, and efficient infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for Linux, Windows, and OCI environments using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Golang
-
Build scalable automation platforms and CI/CD pipelines aligned to federal security standards
-
Implement and tune configuration management practices for secure, consistent infrastructure delivery
-
Troubleshoot and resolve system automation and reliability issues in a timely manner
-
Collaborate with internal security, operations, and compliance teams to ensure automation meets regulatory requirements
-
Document automation architectures, processes, and standard operating procedures
-
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members on automation best practices
-
Participate in on-call rotations as required for incident response and support
-
Continuously evaluate and integrate new automation tools and frameworks to improve reliability
Technical Skill
-
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automating tasks and managing infrastructure.

Strong background on Linux
-
Experience on Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes
-
Familiarity with monitoring and logging technologies (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
-
Troubleshooting within Linux and Kubernetes environment during deployments
-
Experience with Terraform
-
Hands on expertise on any cloud (AWS, OCI, Azure)
-
Thorough understanding of DevOps culture and Agile Methodology
-
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $74,900 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
