Description

Step into a hands-on role building modular data centers, power modules, and custom critical infrastructure. In this position, you’ll transform blueprints into real structures - measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling steel and concrete, installing framing and components - and oversee every build from raw materials to finished modules. You will be the vital technical link connecting design engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, ensuring projects are completed on spec, on time, and meet rigorous quality standards.

Bring your carpentry or fabrication experience, mechanical sense, and commitment to safe, precise workmanship. This role is ideal for those who take pride in interpreting technical drawings, managing tasks independently, keeping accurate metrics, and producing durable, high-stakes infrastructure in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

RK Company Overview

As a second-generation, family-owned enterprise, RK Industries, LLC (RK) offers a diverse range of construction, manufacturing, advanced fabrication and building services. Led by Rick and Jon Kinning, RK represents seven distinct lines of business that work together to provide seamless project collaboration. • Coordinate internally with RK Mission Critical’s engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure alignment on design requirements, material readiness, and technical information.

  • Support project controls, including maintaining project budgets, billing support documents, schedule updates, and other project trackers from kickoff through shipment.

  • Assist in coordinating project licensing and permitting requirements, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and routed appropriately.

  • Track and report material deliveries to production, including OFCI materials, and support the PM in communicating impacts to schedule or workflow.

  • Prepare project change order packages, including cost backup, scope clarifications, and log updates, as directed by the PM.

  • Create and maintain project submittals, manage the submittal approval workflow, track responses, and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare and maintain logs such as RFIs, submittal registers, risk registers, and other documentation needed to support the project team.
