We are seeking an experienced RVT to join our Overnight Team at VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists in a Shift Lead Position.

Schedule : F our 10 hour shifts, 8:00pm to 6:30am or 5:00pm-3:30am

Compensation : $ 28 - $ 35 / hr

We believe in high quality veterinary medicine and patient care and making that happen through dedication and learning. The position is for four, 10 hour shifts, 8:00pm to 6:30am or 5:00pm-3:30am. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Duties will include:

  • Maintaining medical records.

  • Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments.

  • Preparing medications and prescriptions.

  • Communicating in person and on the phone with clients.

  • Organizing Care by all Team Members and providing leadership and support.

  • Assisting in procedures.

  • Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.

  • Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $24 to $30 per hour.
