Role Overview
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will lead and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our oncology unit. Collaborating with a skilled management team, you will oversee nursing care in accordance with established guidelines and serve as a vital resource for your team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges to maintain efficient care processes.
- Engage in continuous assessment and enhancement of patient care services.
- Foster a collaborative work environment to improve clinical outcomes.
- Embrace a patient-first approach and contribute to service recovery initiatives.
- Implement employee engagement strategies, including regular rounding.
- Contribute to staff management, including interviewing and training.
- Assist with staff scheduling and resource management while adhering to productivity standards.
- Ensure proper management of inventory and medical supplies.
Qualifications:
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Registered Nurse License.
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate to be completed within 60 days of hire.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an inpatient acute care setting.
