Description

Material Handler:

1. Accurately organize finished goods on buggies for shipping

2. Operate wrapper

3. Keep tube barrels stocked

4. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area

5. Other duties as assigned

Driving Functions:

6. Inspect company vehicle before each shift for any issues or damages

7. Maintain truck log

8. Keep a clean, orderly and safe work area

9. Other duties as assigned

Equipment Used: Company vehicle, lifts, trucks, jacks, buggies, markers, wrapper, tape gun, battery charger, compactor, scanner.

Safety:

1. Hearing protection (when in required manufacturing areas) (company provided)

2. Safety glasses (when in required manufacturing areas) (company provided)

3. Use of proper lifting procedures

4. General housekeeping rules

5. Obey all local traffic laws and follow all safety practices when operating company vehicle

6. Must complete and follow all required positional safety training

Requirements

Must be able to read and write. Lift up to 70 pounds. Must maintain a valid driver's license (checked via motor vehicle report (MVR) yearly) and maintain STI certification on lifts/trucks. Must be able to continuously walk, bend, push, pull, stoop, stretch (arms and legs) and lift arms above head level while standing on cement floor. Not permitted outside of your assigned work area without your supervisor's knowledge.

Salary Description

$16.00-$20.58 Per hour + ($1.00 shift premium)
