Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for Production Assemblers in our Albany-area client. This person is responsible for assembling components or parts of a product efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role requires dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assembly Operations:
    • Perform routine and repetitive assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment.
    • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions (both written and verbal).
    • Position and align parts, such as fasteners, screws, bolts, and wires, using various measuring instruments and techniques.
    • May involve basic soldering, wiring, crimping, or mechanical fastening, depending on the product.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect components and completed assemblies for defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
    • Ensure all assembled products meet company quality standards and specifications.
    • Identify and report any non-conforming materials, parts, or processes to the supervisor immediately.
    • Perform basic functional tests or checks on sub-assemblies as required

This is a full-time position - shifts are Mon-Thursday from 7am-5:30 pm with possible OT on Fridays.
