Join Our Team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver

If you are passionate about driving and want a job that allows you to return home daily while maintaining an excellent safety record, we want to hear from you Idaho Forest Group is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to transport residual products from our sawmills to customer locations.

You'll excel in this role if you:

  • Perform all required DOT vehicle pre- and post-inspections with proficiency.
  • Operate trucks in accordance with DOT, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.
  • Understand and adhere to electronic hours of service and log requirements.
  • Consistently follow safety protocols and regulations.

To qualify, you need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of commercial truck driving experience.
  • A valid Class A CDL and medical card.
  • A working knowledge of DOT regulations, including weight restrictions.
  • Experience driving in adverse conditions such as gravel, snow, and mud.
  • Few points on your driving record.
  • A willingness to undergo PSP verification.

Bonus points for:

  • Having a valid US Passport for potential transport into Canada.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move safely and perform repetitious movements, sit and/or stand for shifts, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, twist, push, pull, maintain balance, bend, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs. Candidates must also be able to tolerate various weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations, and airborne particles such as sawdust.
