About The Pelican Grand Beach Resort: We are a very diverse team with a ton of personality We are located directly on the water in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida.

The Food Runner will:
  • Support both servers and kitchen staff
  • Deliver food to guests
  • Ensure plates in the window match ticket orders before they go to the table checking especially for consistency and modifications
  • Communicate with fellow teammates in the kitchen to ensure success

Requirements

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must also be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States

Salary Description
