Internship Details

Location: Conshohocken, PA

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to gain hands-on experience in protecting critical systems and data? Our Cybersecurity Engineering Internship Program offers you the chance to collaborate with experienced professionals, enhancing your skills in safeguarding our digital assets. This internship provides valuable exposure to the dynamic world of cybersecurity, allowing you to develop both your technical and analytical abilities in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, deployment, and upkeep of various security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to pinpoint and mitigate security risks.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from system logs and SIEM tools.
  • Support incident response by investigating and documenting potential threats.
  • Research emerging cyber threats and security technologies, and share findings with the team.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to integrate security best practices into all processes.
  • Help in the development and documentation of security policies and training materials.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance testing aligned with industry standards.
  • Engage in special projects focused on enhancing automation in threat detection and implementing new security features.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • No sponsorship required to work in the US now or in the future.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts like encryption, authentication, and network security.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, or Kali Linux.
  • Experience in programming/scripting languages like Python, Java, or Bash is a plus.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
  • Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Keen willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
