Job Summary: Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Practical Nurse where you will provide essential care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses. Your role is vital in maintaining established standards and practices in a supportive environmental setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic patient care duties, including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens (including phlebotomy, as applicable).
  • Assist providers in examining and treating patients, including participating in various procedures.
  • Support patient flow within the clinic efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist providers with patient-related inquiries.
  • Help schedule tests, manage results, and coordinate pre-certifications.
  • Document patient information accurately and manage medication refill requests.
  • Administer medications and immunizations as per physician's orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment in compliance with policies and protocols.
  • Order necessary stock supplies from the supply department, ensuring sterility and safety.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks, such as locating patient charts and completing documentation.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions, while being open to additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid LVN License in the state of employment or compact.
  • BLS certification is required.

Work Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
