IT Software Developer III
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA
Assignment: Up to 6 months | Hybrid Schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:45 pm, alternating Fridays off)
Pay Rate: $53.41 to $57.99 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking a skilled IT Software Developer III for a temporary opening to support enterprise technology projects at our downtown Los Angeles headquarters. This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of internal and external websites, reports, forms, and workflows.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, project-focused, and highly skilled in modern development tools, cloud platforms, and database programming. You will also coordinate and manage projects with accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy web pages, reports, and forms using tools such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, SharePoint, and Webflow
- Manage and maintain enterprise websites with Umbraco CMS, AWS, Cloudflare, and Cloudinary services
- Act as project manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology projects
- Develop SQL and Oracle database queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Build ETL processes, business intelligence dashboards, and automated workflows
- Ensure applications and databases meet security, performance, and compliance standards
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with four years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with two years of relevant experience
- Technical expertise in:
* Languages and frameworks: HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET
* Databases: SQL, Oracle (DDL, stored procedures, triggers, packages)
* Platforms and tools: Umbraco, AWS, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Report Builder), Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Access), Webflow, Nintex, Dreamweaver, Photoshop - Experience with data warehouse design, ETL tools, and BI dashboards
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Valid California Class C Driver License
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- U.S. work authorization required (no H1B sponsorship available)
- This position does not provide CalPERS membership
