Headfarmer is seeking a Senior Accountant to join one of our outstanding client.

About the Job
An established, privately held company with steady growth is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This organization offers a stable yet dynamic environment with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to accounting operations and financial reporting.
The Role
This position will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting leadership with analysis to guide business decisions. The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger functions, reconciliations, and close processes while also contributing to budgeting and forecasting.
Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Managing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Preparing accurate financial statements and management reports.
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Maintaining fixed asset schedules and related depreciation.
  • Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Supporting audits through schedules and documentation.
  • Partnering with other departments to provide financial insight.
What We`re Looking For
  • Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
