About Mithril: Mithril is a specialized protocol and network for proof-of-stake blockchains. Its primary aim is to provide lightweight, secure access to blockchain data while maintaining high standards of security and decentralization. We focus on optimization and scalability, enabling key functionalities like data synchronization for light and full-node wallets and seamless exchanges with layer 2 solutions such as bridges, sidechains, rollups, and state channels.
Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Mithril team, where you will use your deep engineering expertise to build and deliver industry-leading blockchain technology products. You will lead the charge in innovation, challenging the status quo, and utilizing the latest industry trends and best practices. As a senior team member, you will mentor junior engineers and serve as a vital resource within the organization across various codebases.
- Champion best practices in software architecture, design, development, testing, documentation, delivery, deployment, and operations.
- Provide in-depth technical expertise in Rust programming for blockchain applications.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code for innovative blockchain solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure excellence in deliverables.
- Engage actively in strategic technical decision-making, focusing on core component design that prioritizes security, scalability, and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including blockchain researchers, product owners, and DevOps engineers, to create impactful blockchain solutions.
- Review specifications provided by architects and product specialists.
- Possess knowledge in distributed and concurrent computation.
- Have a foundational understanding of cryptography.
