Responsibilities & Qualifications

As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will deliver high-quality care by:

  • Assessing patients upon admission and during shifts, accurately reporting any changes in their condition.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring responses, and documenting care thoroughly.
  • Responding swiftly and compassionately to patient requests and anticipating their needs.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and ensuring understanding of medical terminology.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
