Description
At Liv Well Behavioral we offer needed services during the weekend for the community. This allows us to continue the children's treatment and focus on life skills within a residential setting. If you'd like to be a part of these services and ensure the safety of children in our community, please continue reading.
We are looking for an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to engage with clients and maintain safety in our facilities. They will be part of our Empowerment program that provides behavioral health services on the weekend. Overnight staff will ensure the safety of all clients through the entire night while they are in the facility. In this position you will work as part of a treatment team to implement treatment plans, redirect behavior, prompt daily living tasks, utilize non-violent physical crisis intervention, and assist with documentation.
Schedule
Friday: 9pm-8am
Saturday: 9pm-8am
Sunday: 9pm-8am (Only when the children are off from school)
Consistency could vary but this role would likely be scheduled to work every other weekend.
Primary Responsibilities
- Remain awake and alert overnight while clients are in care.
- Conduct safety checks every 30 minutes to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Responsible for general housekeeping duties.
- Respond to clients' needs during shift.
- Provide input for the planning of each child's treatment goals.
- Help implement individual treatment plans with each child.
- Assist with overnight medications, as needed.
- Complete client's health record notes and trip tickets
- A valid driver's license with no legal restrictions
- Minimum age requirement 21
- An Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to attain one
- A passion for working with children and the ability to work on a team
- An accredited high school diploma or GED equivalency
- Three (3) years of behavioral health experience or working with children preferred
Salary
$17 - $20 per hour
