The role involves operating MRI equipment to perform scans. Candidates must have experience specifically with GE equipment. A valid Virginia license is required at the time of application. The typical procedures performed include brain, spine, orthopedic, abdominal, and cardiac imaging. The unit has a staff of five, with coverage across day, evening, and night shifts. In this position, there is a weekend call rotation, averaging one weekend per month. Technologists will also conduct call shifts during weeknights. The dress code for this role is navy scrubs. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role. Preferred candidates will have experience with cardiac scans.
