Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM; Saturday, 6:30 AM-2:30 PM (Fridays Off)

Our client is seeking a dedicated full-time Medical Tech Assistant to join their state-of-the-art outpatient imaging facilities in Mercer County, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to support high-quality patient care in a modern, team-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support technologists and radiologists with patient exam preparation and electronic record entry.

  • Verify patient information and prepare necessary documentation for technologists.

  • Escort patients to imaging modalities in a professional and compassionate manner.

  • Process and send images to PACS Cube upon patient request.

  • Communicate with radiologists on behalf of technologists when needed.

  • Answer departmental phone calls promptly while following established customer service standards.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Two years of related medical work experience preferred.

  • Ability to physically assist patients into wheelchairs and onto imaging tables.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic documentation.

  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in person and over the phone.

  • Commitment to following established procedures and making sound, policy-based decisions.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
