DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Hospice teams at Samaritan Health Services support patients and family members through the final stages of their illness. The Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in Albany is a 12 bed inpatient facility that provides symptom management, respite care and room and board. Services offered include skilled nursing care, pain and other symptom management, medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, trained hospice volunteers, bereavement support and medication and equipment as appropriate.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:Current, unencumbered Oregon CNA - Level 1 or 2 certification required upon submission.Healthcare Provider level AHA BLS required upon submission.Experience and/or training in Microsoft Word, Outlook and electronic medical records preferred.AGH Hospice Inpatient:Successful completion of Food Handler's course required within 30 days of hire.
Shift: Days (0700-1930) rotating weekends
