At Bethany Christian Services, we believe families providethe strongest foundation for care and connection. That's why we focus onstrengthening and empowering families, always advocating for family-centeredsolutions to keep children safe. Our work began in 1944 with the care ofa single child. Today, inspired by our faith, our aim is to demonstrate thelove and compassion of Jesus in our services for children, youth, andfamilies. About the Transitional Foster Care Program: Our Transitional Foster Care (TFC) program provides short-term, family-based care for unaccompanied children (UC) who arrive in the U.S. without a parent or guardian. These children are placed with foster families who offer safety, stability, and a nurturing environment where healing can begin.
The goal of TFC is family reunification. Caseworkers actively search for relatives in the U.S. or, when safe, facilitate reunification with parents in the child's home country. We recruit foster families from local communities, with a focus on Latinx households to support culturally and linguistically appropriate placements.
As an Unaccompanied Children (UC) Transitional Foster Care Case Manager, you will be primarily responsible for providing casework and supportive services to children in foster care, foster families, and biological families referred to Refugee and Immigrant Services TFC program.
