Outpatient Physical Therapist (Full-Time or Contract)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join an outpatient team. The ideal candidate will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and use of modalities.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and clinic standards.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines.
  • Must be able to treat up to 12 patients per day.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
