Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Healthcare Revenue Cycle and HIM Operations Manager to lead our remote team in daily operations for the healthcare revenue cycle and coding department.

As a vital member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting a remote team for daily operations of the healthcare revenue cycle and healthcare coding department.
  2. Identifying and implementing effective strategies to accelerate the revenue cycle, reducing accounts receivable days, improving cash flow, and enhancing overall profitability.
  3. Managing account reconciliation, pre-collection, and post-collection activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Identifying and resolving issues affecting revenue cycle performance through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including billing, coding, and clinical operations, to optimize the effectiveness of the revenue cycle process.
  6. Training and mentoring staff on revenue cycle processes and industry best practices.
  7. Staying updated with the latest trends and regulations in the healthcare industry to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  8. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve revenue cycle performance.
  9. Providing regular reports and updates to senior management regarding the status and performance of the revenue cycle.
  10. Managing routine client meetings to gather updates on initiatives and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, encompassing account reconciliation, pre-collection, and post-collection.
  2. Strong knowledge of healthcare financial management and medical billing processes.
  3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in healthcare billing software and revenue cycle management tools, particularly Oracle Health (Cerner) software.
  5. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interactions at all organizational levels.
  7. Thorough understanding of federal, state, and payer-specific regulations and policies.
  8. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

This role will involve analyzing business needs to ensure Oracle's solution meets customer objectives by melding industry best practices with product knowledge. You will apply Oracle's methodologies effectively while upholding contractual obligations, thus minimizing risk and exposure. You will exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium engagements, providing direction and mentoring to project teams.

Additionally, you will influence decisions at the management level of customer organizations, ensuring deliverables are acceptable and maintaining close communication with customers to manage project expectations. You will also support business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions, collaborating with the consulting sales team to provide domain credibility while managing the scope of medium-sized projects, including the recovery of any remedial projects.

Compensation: Hiring range in USD: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
