Qualification Needed:
- Veterinary degree (DVM or VMD) and completion of a rotating internship
- Completion of an approved residency in equine surgery or closely related discipline
- Board certification, or eligibility, in equine surgery
- Demonstrated experience handling a referral-level equine surgical caseload
- Strong interest in lameness, sports medicine, and advanced diagnostics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both colleagues and horse owners
- Commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care and high ethical standards
- Desire to remain actively engaged in continuing education and professional growth
- Elective-focused surgical caseload with no after-hours surgical requirements
