Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to support and enhance ongoing developments in our SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams, business users, and other technical resources to deliver high-quality custom solutions and enhancements using ABAP on HANA best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance custom reports, forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms), interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and workflows (RICEF objects).
  • Utilize ABAP on HANA, including Core Data Services (CDS) views, AMDP, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants in SD, MM, FI, PP, and other S/4HANA modules to analyze and understand business requirements.
  • Perform code optimization and performance tuning for ABAP programs in the HANA environment.
  • Conduct unit testing, support system integration testing, and resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6-10 years of SAP ABAP experience with at least 2+ years on SAP S/4HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with CDS views, OData, AMDP, and SAP Gateway.
  • Experience working with Fiori apps and UI5 development/integration.
  • Strong experience with classical and object-oriented ABAP programming.
  • Experience in Enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, User Exits.
  • Knowledge of debugging techniques, performance tuning, and code optimization.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration, or SAP API Management is a plus.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
