The Clinical Leadership Associate Director will oversee and mentor Clinical Directors within their assigned market while being accountable for meeting performance objectives, financial growth, and nurturing a positive culture. This role includes a commitment to direct patient care as a primary care provider alongside vital leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage Medical Directors across multiple centers, ensuring robust clinical outcomes and regular engagement in center activities.
• Drive operational success, surpassing planned market earnings.
• Mentor Medical Directors to achieve exceptional clinical results.
• Facilitate talent development for healthcare providers, guiding them through tailored leadership strategies.
• Foster a collaborative physician culture aligned with ChenMed’s core model, values, and service standards.
• Participate in the training of new practitioners and play a critical role in recruitment processes.
• Build and nurture relationships with payers, specialists, and community organizations, while driving local outreach initiatives.
• Actively monitor market culture and address any workplace concerns promptly.
• Review and authorize center-level referrals and oversee market utilization management.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in market quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Conducting monthly performance reviews and delivering analytical insights on clinical metrics.
• Providing training to educational partners within the ChenMed network.
• Developing relationships with key market stakeholders to drive clinical initiatives.
• Implementing strategies for cost reduction and effective clinical management.
• Delivering outstanding patient outcomes in a direct care capacity (20% time allocation).
• Perform other duties as needed, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability in achieving results in challenging conditions.
• Strong analytical skills and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally up to 30% of the time.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO in a relevant specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar).
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
• Preferred experience as a Medical Director or equivalent, particularly with a Medicare or Medicaid patient demographic.
• Current and active medical license for practice.
• Proven track record in clinical leadership and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Experience in managing complex patient populations and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
