We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our collaborative team of SMEs driving cutting-edge research and technological advancement in Laurel, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior-level experience is required with the manufacturing of mechanical systems that are interfaced with electronics
Requirements:
  • Fifteen+ (15+) years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a related discipline
  • Experience with at least two of the following:
    • Vacuum systems
    • Cryogenics
    • Electronics packaging and interconnects
    • Custom electronics assemblies
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI FSP security clearance required
Desired Experience:
  • Experience in these areas should span the early-stage market analysis/concept generation phase through at least small-scale production and quality control.
  • Additionally, experience with managing supply chain concerns and/or managing government regulations (including export control, IP protection, etc.) is highly desired

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
