As part of our service team, you will play a crucial role in providing support for Securitas Technology products on client sites. This position entails direct client contact for post-installation issues and special project work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address trouble tickets to maintain application uptime and optimize system performance.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to identify and fix application-related issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure application reliability and detect system faults.
  • Perform routine configuration changes such as user permissions and application settings.
  • Document all modifications in a digital change control tracking system.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation for various audiences regarding system deployment.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications prior to deployment.
  • Carry out on-site installations of software upgrades and significant modifications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
  • Fire alarm expertise, particularly with Bosch and Silent Knight, is highly preferred; experience with Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or similar systems is a plus.
  • NICET certification or State Fire License preferred.
  • ESA Certified Alarm Technician and NTS Certified Service Technician credentials are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with network communications and IP addressing.
  • Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
